I’ve often found myself wondering what guitar/amp was used on a specific song or album. Much to my surprise, I’ve never found a nice, succinct, easy to reference list of such information. So I set about poring through my Beatles tomes, mainly for my own benefit and curiosity, but hopefully also for the benefit and curiosity of my fellow Beatles gear enthusiasts. While a lot of general information is known, specifics can be harder to come by, especially later in their catalog. I’ve listed general equipment by recording dates and specific details where I’ve found them. I’ve also categorized all posts with an album tag. So if you search “Rubber Soul” it should return all recording dates after Help! but before Rubber Soul, for example. You should also be able to search by song title.
